On 8 and 9 April 2025, an official delegation from the Fundación Real Madrid made its first visit to Algeria to mark the launch of the EFP program in the country. During the visit The delegation met the teams of MENA Elite Sports Management , visited the sports facilities selected for the Clinics in Algiers, participated in the official launch ceremony and met representatives of Algerian sports media.
This is a historic first for Algerian football. The Fundación Real Madrid officially launched its Educational Football Program (EFP) in Algeria on 8 April 2025, during a ceremony held in Algiers in the presence of an official delegation from the Foundation and the MENA Elite Sports Management teams. A global program, for the first time in Algeria Already present in more than 80 countries and having accompanied more than 100,000 young people around the world, the EFP program arrives in Algeria with the ambition of offering Algerian youth a unique training experience, carried by the values of Real Madrid: excellence, work, respect and inclusion. Phase 1: Algiers, Summer 2025 The first edition of the program will welcome 100 young people aged 6 to 17 in Algiers for an intensive 5-day camp, supervised by coaches certified by the Fundación Real Madrid, with a maximum ratio of 1 coach per 10 children. At the end of these 5 days, each participant will receive an official diploma issued by the Fundación Real Madrid — a unique international recognition for Algerian youth.
